Mirrium and Mirrideth had been transfer thanks to another girls help. It was their first day in their new weyr and she felt for the first and probably not the last time, alone. She noded a thanks to the rider before the green and her bonded left to do what other business the weyr wanted them to do. She sat down on a flat surfaced rock and tried to take in her new home. She was not sure if she wanted to like it or not. She sighed softly as her eyes scanned the whole area.
"Whats wrong MirriumMine? The little green dragonet asked with a slight tilt of the head to get a better look at her bonded. She stood there proudly trying to show off her hide to the males that were looking down at her and her bonded. A greeting to all that was around came from the little greens maw.
"Nothing" Was all she could say before her dragon let out a greeting to everyone in the weyr. She mumbled and stared at the ground wondering when she would get rest now that her dragon had spotted every man in the weyr that was there. She was so busy with her thoughts that she wouldn't even have noticed if someone walked up to her.

Sometimes finding time in the day was a nearly impossible feat, but Kaelu had managed that almost every day for at least two or three candlemarks and hardly knew what to do with it. Today was different. She knew precisely what to do with the free time she had on her hands and was on her way to do so at that moment. Sure, she was not exactly what most thought of when the word Weyrwoman was uttered, but she certainly lived the word better than most who might look like one. It was her job and she had been trained for the part.
She walked quickly through the halls, waving her hand on occasion, her black hair bouncing lightly as she did. Today she hadn't bound any of it, so some of it hung in her face and was casually brushed aside as if it were nothing at all. Kaelu knew the Weyrling Barracks well enough, though half-way through weyrlinghood she and Kyrieth had needed to move out because the gold had overgrown the assigned grotto. That and it was just simpler to put her in her Weyr and keep her closer to Dalia for training and lessons with the older goldrider.
"Ah, memories." Kaelu none too quietly muttered to herself as she entered the place and looked down the main aisle. Sure enough there was one tattered bag and another rider supply bag. "Ah! She's here somewhere!" She bounded out the other side and sure enough there was a small green and a tired-looking, rather forlorn girl. She sidled up, trying to contain her enthusiasm and looked down at her with her vibrant green eyes. "Hello there!"
