Feeding Grounds
Since the plateau is large, and without exit, it is where the Weyr's herdbeasts are kept. Man-made barns shelter the creatures during storms but for the most part there are no other buildings kept here. Large enough for the Weyr's entire population, as long as the dragons stay on one side, the herdbeasts rarely concern themselves.
