The Lake The lake that sits atop Southern's Weyr is a deep and rather large lake. It is fed by two rivers, one above and one underground. The run-off from the lake creates two distinct waterfalls that fall into the ocean itself. |

Feeding Grounds Since the plateau is large, and without exit, it is where the Weyr's herdbeasts are kept. Man-made barns shelter the creatures during storms but for the most part there are no other buildings kept here. Large enough for the Weyr's entire population, as long as the dragons stay on one side, the herdbeasts rarely concern themselves. |

The Fireheights - 1 Viewing Two large piles of firestone, guarded by a small shack where the sacks are kept, stand out prominently on the flat plateau. When not in use as the take off point for patrols, you can find many a dragon simply sunning themselves on the treeless plain. |
