Appearance: D'mon has a rather haughty appearance.He has a very strong chin,upon which is a neatly trimmed goatee.His face is rather rectangular and his eyes are spaced pretty wide apart.These almond shaped eyes burn an intense hazel, often narrowed in a scowl.On his high held head he has short cropped hair.His thick,curly tresses are dark brown.
His clothes compliment his dark skin, as he wears a range of light greens and blues.His shirts often hang loosely from his broad frame.Due to his impressive height of five feet, eleven inches he sports rather large feet.His square toes enjoy the breeze through his worn and loved wherrie hide sandals.He takes great pride in grooming himself, so he will seldom be seen with a strand out of place or a fleck of dirt.
Personality: D'mon is haughty and vain.He is proud of his position and flaunts his authority as often as possible.This charming man festers with hatred and a thirst for revenge.He demands respect and gets it from his riders,who fear his tongue as much as any lash.He despises being bound to Lidal Hold and wishes to free the weyr from this menace.He has no close friends,except for his dragon.
Only when alone with his dragon,does the man show a tender side.He will often pass the idle hour gazing at his beloved bronze .In regards to women, he just sees them as a way to continue the bloodline and treats them accordingly.He has sired many children,but treats them as pests.He scorns the lower ranked riders,but knows they're necessary to the Weyr and his plans.
He remembers the days that Dragon Riders ruled Pern and he wants that glory for himself.He is cunning and selfish and will stop at nothing to see his dream come true and plots in silence,biding his time until the day Southern Weyr is free.He actually supports the war with Northern Weyr, because the dragons once again have purpose.Since Thread is no more, he finds a purpose in battle and will do most anything to see it continue.He wants the Weyr to one day be employed by Holders and support themselves.
History: D'mon was born in weyr and his mother was a resident of the lower cavern,so she didn't have to give up her babe.His father was a brown rider,who was an avid story teller.D'mon's childhood was that of a typical weyrbrat.He helped care for the herdbeasts and he did kitchen duties.When his father had time, he would take his son aside and tell him about Pern's past.
The boy was most interested in Thread and past weyrleaders.His father was prideful of the history of the dragon riders and wanted his son to share that pride.Both dreamed of achieving the glory of past riders such as F'lar and F'nor.His father finally got the chance in the battle of Southern Boll.The brown rider died in the resulting skirmish when D'mon was five Turns old.
D'mon vowed to avenge his father and he bided his time,waiting for his turn at Impression.When he first came of age, he was not Searched.For many Turns,he was not Searched.Finally at the age of seventeen Turns, he was Searched and Impressed.He excelled in his classes and advanced quickly.Now awaits his turn at making history.

Appearance: This dragon is medium sized at thirty seven feet long.He has more homely features for a dragon and larger nostrils than most.His large eyes are set well on the side of his head and often whirl a sedate blue.His soft hide shines a bronze that seems more on the copper end of the spectrum.His hide seems to resemble agouti ticking,with three shades of bronze on each scale.
Personality: He is a very quiet and humble dragon.He tries his hardest in whatever his rider asks of him,but is never boastful.He disapproves of his Bonded's ambitions,but goes along with it anyway.He is easily swayed with a pretty explanation and doesn't really have much of an opinion on anything.He isn't the brightest dragon,but he is very loyal to his Bonded.Hatath at first was swayed by his rider's tales of bravery and the glory that is war.But after seeing a Northern dragon,he isn't quite sure that he will be able to kill in battle.After all, these dragons look the same as his weyrmates.
History: Hatath was born in the middle of the Hatching.The bright dragon was unnoticed by most,as he was rather small at birth.His awkward wings smacked many a hopeful boy as he scrambled through the crowd.Frantic to find His,he bowled over a boy and accidentally clawed him.Finally, a boy approached the bronze directly.The boy reached up and caressed the wedge shaped head,even before the dragon revealed his name.With a mighty shout and a large grin, D'mon announced
"His name is Hatath!"
The poor bronze was very awkward and gangly for most of his training.Though his rider was perfect and thorough in his lesson,Hatath held them both back as he filled into his gaunt frame.Near the end of their weyrling lessons,Hatath had filled out and could fly as well as the dragons who had matured long before he.Once he was out of his weyrling phase,he became a more out going beast and gained confidence.
