| Northern Weyr |
| Weyrbowl
One end of the Weyrbowl is a natural lake that is fairly deep. The other end is a solid land where lessons and ground drills take place. All the weyrs open off into the weyrbowl. The only ground entrance winds through the Lower Caverns before emptying into the bowl.

| Upper Levels
The Upper levels of the Weyr are given completely over to weyrs and the fireheights.

| Lower Caverns
Northern's Lower Caverns are a honeycomb of caves, caverns and living quarters for the weyrfolk. A large network of Caverns, you had best know your way around or you will get lost.

| Hatching Grounds
The Hatching Ground at Northern is very showy. The spectators sit in an upper deck that overlooks the sands. Candidates enter by way of a tunnerl directly underneath the deck. The Cavern itself is huge and can easily fit four large queens and their clutches.

| Weyrling Caverns
Northern's Weyrling complex is in fact a series of caverns that are not connected in any way to the main Weyr. This creates a feeling of seperateness that encourages the Weyrlings to bond more closely with their dragons.

| Northern Skies
The Northern Skies encompass all the skies North of the ocean. Flights, battles and patrols take place in the vast region. Most Southern spies/patrols will be found in the skies in and around Ista, Igen or Southern Boll.

| Northern Holds |
| Fort Hold
The oldest Hold in existence, it is one of the smallest but better built Holds in Northern Pern. The College of Crafts has long since been moved to abandoned Benden Weyr but the halls at Fort Hold are still a place to come and learn.

| Ruatha Hold
Easily the most prosperous hold in the North, Ruatha has many kin among the Weyrfolk. Still known for it's runners, Ruatha is one of the few holds that still trades freely.

| Southern Boll Hold
A major produced of weavings, tapestries and boats Southern Boll is the last of three beholden to Northern Weyr. It is also the only hold that trades South, though this must be done in secret.

| Telgar Hold
The largest hold in our Pern, Telgar has a great view of its' southern valley. One of the wealthiest holds on Pern, it does not tithe to the Weyr. The Smithcrafthall is housed here, as well as the Halls for other industrial crafts and the newly built Wherhold.

| Southern Weyr |
| Weyr Face
Southern Weyr doesn't have a proper Weyrbowl like the abandoned Weyrs of the north do. Instead it has a grassyheadland with a lake that is a plateau without exit.

| Lower Caverns
Though half the Lower Caverns isn't really in the caverns, it is still considered part and parcel. Only the bathing room, dining cavern and kitchen are in the actual cliff face while the candidate barracks and most living structures are outside.

| Hatching Grounds
The Hatching Grounds are a small affair built in a dormant volcano. It isn't all that big really but the Weyr has learned to make do. The Lodal Lord Holder won't let them move it anywhere bigger.

| Weyrling Barracks
Southern's Weyrling barracks consist of thatched roof sheds set under a grove of big trees. The Weyrlings sleep in hammocks while the dragonets sleep on the ground. In the event of a hurricane or bad storm, the Weyrlings are usually put in Lidal's Gather room.

| Beachside
Southern Weyr sits right on some of the prettiest beaches on Pern. With redfruit trees that go right up to the water's edge and naturally deep coves, they are wonderful places for dragons to sun and swim.

| Hold Lidal
Hold Lidal is the OverHold in the south. All Southern Holds and the Weyr pay fealty to Lord Holder Lidal. It's a rather large hold with access to the ocean by means of a river and everything made in the South will eventually pass through Lidal.

| Southern Skies
The Southern Skies are either calm or stormy, there is no inbetween. Stretching along the entire border of the Southern continent, every Turn it gets harder for the Southern Weyr to patrol it's territory.

| Southern Holds |
| Garon Hold
Built against the mountains, Garon Hold is a major supplier of precious metals, gemstones, and Smiths to the rest of the South. Every stone structure in the South is also made from stone mined in Garon. Said stone having tiny flecks of silver and gold set in it's dark brown color.

| Taskin Hold
Taskin Hold is the College in the South. Since most Southerners cannot afford a boat trip, and no dragon will ferry anyone North, if you want to Apprentice and learn a craft you have to go to Taskin. That being said Taskin is the trade center of the South.

| Northern Continent
If it doesn't fit into any of the other Northern boards this is where it will go. Everything from Igen's BeastCraftHall to Telgar's ore rich mines.

| Southern Continent
If it doesn't fit into any of Southern's boards this is where it will go. From the artic region of the far South, to the ancient site of Landing Hold.

| Benden College
The once proud Benden Weyr has now become Benden College. Fort Hold grew to big to house the College and so it moved itself to Benden where it has plenty of room to grow. While it does accept Southern students by far and away the majority of it's students are Northerners.
