The worker nodded in agreement to Kaelu's statements and when the Weyrwoman left, she returned to her work. The Weyrwoman was thorough, sometimes too thorough but time and crossing the wrong worker would correct that. The creche was no place to cause a seen, perhaps the Headwoman would assist the Weyrwoman with learning sometimes less is more.
"Alas I am wounded", T'ran replied, seeing some of the children swap from him to Kaelu. He staggered, hand to his chest, in the middle of the creche before slowly crumbling to the ground. With his tongue out and eyes rolled back in his head to the children he was the very epitome of death. "What happened?", Children clammered to surround, some gently kicking him, others poking him to see if he would move.
"Woozie", one of the younger children tugged on Kaelu's shirt, "wha' happy?", she was still learning to talk but was all the cuter for it.

Kaelu had become the riding dragon and tickle beast all at once. Each high-pitched child's laughter was paired with her own older chuckling. It seemed that she had not lost them yet. She still had the hearts of the children and she was glad of that because they were so very honest. Though fickle they most certainly were.
That fickleness was precisely what had hit T'ran and he was down for the count or so it seemed. As some of the older children noticed him on the floor fallen, so did the younger ones. They all became greatly concerned, even to the point of bringing it to Kaelu's attention. She turned around and looked at the man with a rather funny expression on her face, yet still she smiled and looking at the children tucked some of her black hair behind an ear.
"Hmm, why don't we find out, eh?" Kaelu suggested. She took the hands of those smallest and nearest and came closer to him. "Ah, it seems someone had slain the beast. Do we want him to come back?"
Of course there were a few who were most adamant about it. If she wasn't getting nods, she was getting insistent 'yes' cries. Though she knew full well he was only playing, they didn't. This could be fun. Kaelu was certainly going to enjoy this.
"The best way to fix him is to make him laugh, and the best way to make him laugh is to tickle him!" Kaelu, with the help of a few eager children, then set for stomach and armpits and neck areas with wriggling fingers. Whether or not he was truly ticklish, she didn't know, but if he was, he'd have nothing but children all over him and they were always hard to dispel. Hopefully she would be able to keep her nimbleness and leap out of the way with some of the younger ones just in case. "Tickle him good!"

He wasn't very ticklish, sensitive skin was lackong on most parts of his body due to the ravages of his youth but he wouldn't let them know that. As they began to tickle him, he began to squirm just a bit. Encouraged by his actions the children's tickling got more and more aggressive and he squirmed harded and harder finally breaking into laughter as they brought 'the beast' back to life. "Alright alright, you have brought me back to life", he breathed heavily, giving them the idea that he was gasping from breath from laughing so hard.
"But I think it is time for nap", he hinted as a creche worker was bearing down on them. The sounds of disappointment rang true, but just among the older children. The youngers ones were toot ired to protest. "I will tell you a story if you cooperate", he bribed them. Though it took a moment to sink in, the children nodded in agreement and followed the creche worker to get settled onto cots for story-telling and a nap. "You can come to Woozie".

"The sooner you take a nap, the sooner you can get up to play again, right?" Kaelu added with a smile and a raised finger. Always when she made a point with them, she smiled and raised a finger. It was no wonder if they played Weyr the girl who portrayed her did the same. She did it so often it was hard to forget.
She took the hand of a child and started walking over to the beds for them. Kaelu had to stoop a little because she was so much taller, not just for them, but as a woman as well. Still, even when she heard T'ran's jest at the name the little children gave her since they could not say Weyrwoman properly, she just paused and looked over her shoulder at him.
"But of course, Mr. Beastie, but y'know I can see through that little tirade you played." Kaelu replied in kind. So he wasn't truly ticklish, what a shame. He did put in a good effort to play along, but she was smarter than that. "I do like a good story, I was Harper once."
