Kaelu just nodded her head where it was resting in her hand. "Well enough, it'll make the menfolk happy won't it?"
That was one thing no one ever complained about was it? Kyrieth had been a large hatchling and even then she did not stop growing. From what she had been told by the oldest riders, Kyrieth was the largest they had ever seen and might very well be the largest on Pern itself. It really just gave her another thing to be proud about, but if she could pass along her size and maybe mix in a little more fierceness, they'd be superior in a fight, wouldn't they? Maybe they would not lose any riders or dragons in skirmishes, though it was always bound to happen.
"Sure, if I'm not here, just leave them around here somewhere. I've got a Headwoman to track down." Kaelu said with a satisfied and energetic smile. "See ya!"
At last, he was gone. V'las was so uptight half the time and every now and again he said something right, but the other half he would say something that would just make her want to scream. At least he no longer went on about women being weak. That did not make for a good conversation starter for anyone, even if it wasn't said to her face. Kaelu sighed and looked at the lists she had scribbled together. They needed to be gotten to the Headwoman as well and they could be very well just left on her desk.
He doesn't think I can be risked if I fly around too much. Bah! I could eat another dragon if they came at me. Kyrieth remarked, having paid attention to the entire meeting between her dear Kaelu and the bronze rider. She agreed, but was as always quick to judge. If his catches me, he'll try to cage you, but I will not let him. I will never be caught! Granted she wanted her flight more than anything and she wanted her clutch right after, and then she wanted babies, many cute little babies to watch over. She was such a mother.
