Season:Summer Weather: Summer has come to Northern Weyr and with it a relief from the icy cold of the harsh winter. Fields have been plowed and stock tended to as time marches towards the fall.
Expectations: With Astoth not due to fly for another turn, and Basteth not due for two turns, the Weyr looks to try and keep their advantage over Southern.
Season:Winter Weather: With the advance of the southern winter comes the hurricanes that are expected. It seems the weather is being nice in that no storms have threatened the Weyr just yet.
Expectations: The eggs harden nicely on the sands and rumor has it they could hatch any day now.

Weyrling Barracks The Weyrling Barracks is in fact a large cavern, probably the largest in Northern, that can house up to fifty full grown dragons. It's not split into sections so there is very little privacy. Each Weyrling has a bed, a dragon couch and a chest for clothes and study materials. Above each bed is a glow basket that is expected to last the entire Weyrling training.

Classrooms Just down the hall from the massive cavern of the Weyrling barracks, are three smaller caverns. These three caverns have been converted into classrooms for the Weyrlings and give them a place to study when they aren't in the barracks or outside.
Weyrling Baths The Weyrling Bathing Room is a small tiny room just off their large cavern. The hot water pool is big enough for about four people, so hot water baths must be taken in shifts. Its' use is only allowed for the young Weyrlings and in the dead of winter.
